World Habitat Awards and Day coming up
We wrote about World Habitat Day last year, an event aiming to bring awareness and support to the need for affordable housing throughout the globe. On October 4th, the day will be conducted again. Like last year, Habitat has created a website for the day, which you can go to here.
Another organization, Building and Social Housing Foundation, is looking for entrants to its annual World Habitat Awards. Two winners with receive a little over $15,400 and international recognition. Additional information can be found on the event’s website. Applicants should go here before November 1st to apply.
