Toostep hopes to build a dialogue on microfinance

Toostep, a new startup trying to build online discussions through its host of easy to use tools, has started a page focused on microfinance. Its easy to use interface makes it a breeze to post, vote and answer questions posted by other users.

One of the coolest features is the ability to tag the purpose of their post. For example if people are looking to start a debate they can tag it that way, and a voting mechanism appears. Likewise if you are simply looking to make a comment, you can do that as well.

This is great, especially because there aren’t a lot of place one can talk about microfinance. I only know of one forum and a couple of blog that allow this.

Micro – Finance: When there are banks to provide at a lower interest and the Micro NBFCs availing funds at a cheaper rate from the banks….. is it consciously a lending to weaker sections at average normal above 20% ( even @ 26%) for a social cause…. In my opinion it is a old wine in a new bottle…. Rural pawn brokers turn in to social lenders
