Last May, I extensively covered the “Workshop on empowering the underprivileged” organized by CSIM Hyderabad (The coverage can be read here and here). This year CSIM Hyderabad is coming up with the second edition of their workshop, which focuses on “Innovation and Leadership in Social Sector”.

The lead speakers in this event are

• Mr.Gregory Rake, India Country Director,RDI
• Mr.Srivyal Vuyyuri, Managing Trustee, Sphoorti Foundation
• Major(Retd.) Shiva Kiran, Founder, Sukuki Exnora
• Mr.Vinaayak Kalletla, Founder Principal and General Secretary, Abhyasa Residential Public School

The inclusion of Mr. Vinaayak Kalletla is interesting since the school he has founded does not seem to cater to the underprivileged as is evident from the fee structure. However, that probably doesn’t take his away the credibility since the school provides students with  an opportunity to contribute to the under-privileged section of the society and to the environment through its  “Rural Service Program” and various other programs for social responsibility.

As last year, I will represent ThinkChange India and cover this year’s event too. The details of the workshop are as under.
