Outlook Business features 50 social entrepreneurs
Be sure to pick up this week’s issue of Outlook Business India, which features profiles of 50 social entrepreneurs from around the country. The cover story, entitled “The New Wealth Creators,” gives a basic introduction to social entrepreneurship, and the 50 enterprises and individuals are identified by category – livelihood, health, education, technology, energy, veterans, and miscellaneous. From some of the usual suspects (SELCO, D.Light Design, LifeSpring, and SEWA) to those that are not as publicized (Elements Akademia, Ecoreco, Rudi Multi Trading, and Kaivalya Education Foundation, to name a few), the issue is full of gems worth reading about.

I was delighted to see this list of Social Enterprises.
Five years ago I taught the first Social Enterprise course in India
at GLIM at the behest of the President and Vice President of Yale University.
Since then I have been spending five months a year in India working privately on Social Enterprise Research and projects.
My main Adviser is Prof Gautam Pingle of ASCI in Hyderabad.
i would be delighted to send you more credentials and information
